MastoPrompt: Fortress

I'm going off on one about religious hypocrisy today. As the title says, the prompt was "fortress".

"A mighty fortress is our God"
Is one bit from a holy book
But other than the oft repeated
Do they ever take a look?
Some people revel in the suffering
Of people gay, lesbian, bi, or trans
Or anyone they find immoral
Or people that the Bible bans
But Jesus told folks never to judge
And every person has their flaws
One always stumbles from the path
And sometimes violates the laws
So no one here should judge another
And for each when the bell tolls
We'll pass away and learn the outcome
For the contents of our souls
