Creating HR Test Data

Much like any other computer system, human resources systems have to be tested before release as well. However there are some special rules that they include that need to be accounted for in order for the data to be realistic enough to pass muster. A guy named Test Test with flailing on the keyboard for other fields is not going to get the job done. The data will have to be set up in such a way that it passes the rules for the system, passes the rules for the position, doesn't break anything along the way, and looks good enough for the human observing data on the other end. This may well be a test for the data scientists as well! Below are some tips for making realistic-looking data:
